This is the two volume publication of the letters of Pavel Annenkov (1813-87), Pushkin`s first biographer, to the great Russian writer Ivan Turgenev. The first volume contains 188 letters and covers 1852-1874. Volume two - 348 letters for 1875-1883, comments and indices. Also included are two essays by the compilers of this publication: Materials to the Biography of P.V. Annenkov and the History of His Friendship with I. Turgenev.
