This work researches modern problems of civil law presumptions. It gives a new view of presumption as a special norm of law with its own structure and place in a normative legal area. On the basis of the proposed theory of the presumed norm the work analyses the most well known classifications of presumptions, deals with the system of presumptions in civil law, uses arbitration court practice. The proposals set out in the book can be used to improve current civil legislation and law enforcement practice.
