This is the documentary story of Savva Morozov (1852-1905), a famous Russian textile magnate, written by his grandson on the basis of the family archive . A patron of the Moscow Artistic Theater (MKhAT) and of Russian artists such as V. Serov and M. Vrubel`, he also significantly helped Russian revolutionaries. Morozov committed suicide at the very beginning of the first Russian revolution of 1905 of which he was one of the sponsors.
