This would be a book on the history of medieval Rus, if it were not so obviously intended to burst the image of the Great Russia. The author intends to prove that myth of the Tatar-Mongol Yoke does not stand up to modern archeological, statistical, linguistic and genetic data. The myth of the 300-year long dependency of Russia on the Gold Horde was made up by foreigners to diminish Russian history and its greatness. Interesting read. (0.245 kg.)
