This monograph by Aleksandr Zholkovskii (b. 1937), professor of philology and linguistics (University of Southern California), was first published in 1971. The author taught the Somali language at the Institute of Eastern Languages (Moscow), and edited and translated radio shows into the Somali language. This text uses as examples many clich?s of soviet propaganda from these shows.
