This is the seventeenth volume of the annual almanac which continues the tradition of publications on Russian history particularly the series "Russian Archive" edited by Petr Bartenev, last published in 1917. The almanac contains memoirs, diaries, letters, literary and philosophical works, rare photos, personalities, bibliography, genealogy, and more. This volume features the autobiographical notes of Fedor Shlippe (1873-1951), Nikolai Mel`nikov (1872-1951), letters of V.A. Zhukovskii to A.Ia Bulgakov (1836-1852), and more.
