Leonid Borodin (b. 1938), a winner of the A.I. Solzhenitsyn award, editor of the magazine "Moskva" (since 1992), learned about the hardships of soviet life from his own experience: his father and stepfather died in camps, and he himself served two terms as a political prisoner. This is his book of his novelettes and short stories: Tret`ia Pravda, Lovushka dlia Adama, Besivo, Korovii Razvedchik, Do Rassvera, Instinkt Pamiati. Also included is an article by literary critic Pavel Basinskii about L. Borodin and his works.
