[ Social development in the frame of the theory of social alternatives]

Moscow:  Mauka, 2003
197 p
Hardcover. 14 x 21 cm. Printing 580
ISBN: 5020062707
Language: Russian
This monograph offers an original view on the phases of social development of economically advanced countries and global economico-social trends. The authors` approach is based on the theory of social alternatives, which assumes that social and economic development is not determined by existing alternatives (socialism, capitalism, industrialism, etc) but is heading toward a new system of civilizational relations. This theory is especially relevant for contemporary Russia, and offers a new theoretical frame and methodology for choosing a strategy of economico-social development. The monograph is based on the current statistical data (10 tables). Appendices include a methodology of economic estimation of human capital and of national wealth of the federal districts of Russia.
