The Prelate Nicholas the Wonder Worker is an especially respected figure in the Russian Orthodox tradition. He died in the Italian city of Myra Lycia. Later his relics were moved to the city of Bari. This collection contains a new version of his life (Zhitiia) by A.V. Bugaevskii and archbishop Vladimir (Zorin) and articles by Russian theologians about his image in Byzantine and Slavic hagiography, hymnography, and iconography. 25 color and 21 black-and-white illustrations.
