Goriushkin counted about 50 projects and scientific programs suggested in 1920-1950s by Russian and foreign scholars and politicians. This book is a first step of systematization and description of these projects. According to the editor of the collection, the projects may be used as a bank of ideas for future Siberian development. Some of them are described in the book: plan of industrialization in 1930s, Grain Project of 1954, creating academic towns and N&D "bells" near them. Includes bibliographic references.
