St. Petersburg: Peterburg - XXI vek, 2001 ISBN: 5884851057 Language: Russian
This story is about little known anti-Stalinist groups in the USSR in the 1920s. The author, a student at that time, took part in a semi-underground circle of students. He participated in a political movement known as the Left Opposition. Among the leaders of this movement were E. Preobrazhenskii, L. Trotskii, and K. Radek. The manuscript of this book, signed with a pseudonym, was found in an American archive. Supplements include two articles: “On Soviet Russia of the 1920s” by Nadezhda Ioffe and “On the Left Opposition of 1920-1930s” by T. Smilga.
