This volume in the series The Library: A.D. 2000: Religious Philosophy includes two works of Prince Sergei Nikolaevich Trubetskoi (1862-1905). The first, his doctoral thesis completed in 1900, and published in 1906, provided the name of this book. The second, Fundamentals of Idealism, was published in the journal Issues of Philosophy and Psychology (1896). It is a program work of the Russian philosopher where he defines his teaching as concrete idealism. Comments. The series started in 1999. Other volumes are also available.
