Since studies of this subject were suspended for almost seventy years, there have not been many professionally trustworthy works published recently. This is the third monograph in the series, first published in 1916. Unlike her previous works, this one deals with only one lodge, Capital of the Phoenix, which led all the other lodges, belonged to so called Swedish system, called also Gagarin`s lodges. Sokolovskaia describes the history of this lodge and its members, its specifics and laws, complex and illustrious rituals, its knightly spirit and teaching.
