This is the first Russian folklore literature parallel text (Evenk and Russian) publication of all known small forms of Evenk folklore. Includes 1,100 entries. About one fourth of them were collected by the author in Magadan Oblast, Kamchatka, and Chukotka. The rest of the texts are taken from the publications of the 1930-1960s, published in small printing. Most of the texts are translated into Russian for the first time. Aleksei Burykin (b. 1954), is the author of over 270 scholarly works in linguistics and ethnography.
