Aleksandr Gorskii (1871-1924) was the artistic director of the Russian Bol`shoi Theater for almost a quarter century (1902-1924). Many of his productions were very successful, and some of them are still performed in Russian ballet theaters. This is a collection of Gorskii` s works about his productions as well as memoirs, reviews and critical works about his ballets. One of the chapters contains his librettos which were not staged.
