Anastasiia Shirvinskaia (b. 1912) was a witness of the events which brought the Russian Marines who participated in Wrangel’s retreat from Crimea to the Tunisian port Bizerte (North Africa) in 1920. Her memoir is about her family, the tragic events of the Civil War, and about the Russian emigration in Tunis.
