The first is his autobiographical novel about his life in Russia and in emigration. The second is his literary memoirs about his friends: J. Brodskii, S. Dovlatov, F. Iskander, M. Shemiakin, etc. The memoirs revealed a lot of unwanted details about Russian political life and the KGB, and caused arguably the largest scandal in the Russian press at home and in emigration. The third book includes Solov`ev`s stories and essays.
