This is a reprint of the course of lectures given at the Moscow Archeological Institute in 1907-1909. The topic of the lectures is Beormas, or Bjarmland, a territory mentioned in Norse sagas up to the Viking Age and beyond, and in geographical accounts until the 16th century. The history of the land is also a history of medieval Finn-Ugor territory of the north European Russia. Stefan Kirovich Kuznetsov (1854-1913) was a professor at the institute. (0.145 kg.)
