The book is a collection of documents, witness reports and documented stories about one of the cavalry divisions of the Caucasus army of WWI which fought in 1914-18 known as Dikaia Diviziia. The division was one of a kind in many ways. It was staffed mostly with small nationalities of the Caucasus and was known for its unprecedented sometimes venturesome heroism.
