This is the second part of materials from G.D. Natsov`s personal collection. Natsov was raised in a Buddhist monastery and was a Lama, but under the influence of the October 1917 Revolution he officially broke with religion and became an ethnographer and historian of religion. This is a collection of his notes on the different versions of Lamaism among the Buryat made in 1930s. They reflect building new temples and other places of worship, information about religious donations, biographical data about lamas, so called "obnovlencheskoe dvizhenie” of 1920s, and later destruction of temples and of their clergy. Part one of Natsov`s materials on Buryat history and culture was published in 1995.
