The next volume in the series Book Centers of Old Rus is about book/manuscript collections and writers (knizhniks) of one of the oldest Russian Monasteries of the Russian North: Kirillo-Belozerskii. Monk Kirill (1337-1427) founded his own monastery in 1397 in Belozer`e, which became the largest center of spiritual life during his lifetime. The articles of this collection deal with works by Kirill himself and by his disciples, as well as literary connections of this monastery with others of the Russian North.
