This book is about a less studied but very tragic case of the Stalin repressions, The Leningrad Case. The Stalin`s inner circle was selecting the heir to Stalin`s throne. The book analyses the real motives for this case. It started with the trial of ten people (brothers Voznesenskii, Kuznetsov, Popkov, Rodionov, Bubnov, etc) and ended with repressions against more than 32,000 of ethnic Russian business, party and state leaders and their families.
