This is the third volume of studies in Old Believers` spiritual literature from Eastern Russia of the two last centuries with academic commentaries. In terms of geography, the book includes dogmatic and political texts found in the vast territory east of the Ural mountains, as well as in central Russia. The texts included belong to the three different confessions: Sofrontievtsy, Pomortsy and Beguny-Stranniki. These texts discuss issues typical for folk theology and their attitude towards the authorities and other confessions. The collection is prefaced by N.N.
