The next book of the series is about the literature of the the Vepsa (or Vepsad, or Chud`), one of the Finno-Ugrian peoples living in the Russian North the area of present day the Kareliia, Leningrad, and Vologda Oblasts. It includes articles by specialists in this region, which trace the main periods and main authors of Vepsa literature. This people did not have their own literacy until 1931, when it was created by a group of linguists based on the Latin alphabet. The series started in 2001. (0.435 kg.)
