This monograph studies the quotations (pithy sayings) from songs of Bulat Okudzhava and Vladimir Vysotskii. It is based on materials from newspaper articles of the 1960s - 2000s. Aleksandr Krylov (b. 1955) is the editor of a series about Okudzhava, Golos Nadezhdy: Novoe o Bulate Okudzhave (started 2004, volumes 1-7 are available).
