The work of Nikolai Morozov (1854-1946), "Christ", published in 1932, laid the basis for a thirty year long discussion in Russian historiography. Morozov questioned the traditionally accepted chronology of the Ancient world. His followers, the author of this book, the historian M. Postnikov (b. 1927), and the well known mathematician A. Fomenko created a new chronology in which they repudiate all ancient and medieval history as mere forgery and falsification. This theory gained enormous popularity in Russia and some notoriety and support in the foreign press. This book consists of three volumes: Antiquity, Bible, and The East and Middle Ages.
