The official campaign to resist "formalism in the arts" cost Iudina her professor’s office at the Moscow Conservatory. The current volume includes her correspondence with: S.Ia. Marshak, B.L. Pasternak, S.S. Prokof`ev, D.D. Shostakovich, N.A. Zabolotskii, etc. 451 letters. Appendices include programs of her concerts, bibliography of her works and her repertoire. Most of these letters are published for the first time. Comments and indices. The first two volumes "Vysokii Stoikii Dukh: Perepiska: 1918-1945" and "Obrechennaia Abstraktsii, Simvolike i Besplotnosti Myzyki: Perepiska 1946-1955 gg.", as well as another book by Iudina, Vy Spasetes` cherez Muzyku (2005), are also available.
