This monograph studies the teaching of Filaret (Drozdov, 1782-1867), metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomenskoe, who was an outstanding Russian theologian, priest, and statesman of the nineteenth century, and its genesis. The Russian Council ranked the metropolitan among the Russian Orthodox Saints. Priest Khodzinskii shows how Orthodox theology with help of Filaret reflected the Church economic reforms and the new theological movement of the 19th century. (0.385 kg.).
