Popov, O.A. Kvitkin, V.V. Osinskii, etc) and proposes a new understanding of the logic of Stalinism and Stalin’s terror. From the authors’ point of view, the history of Stalinism is constituted not only by the communistic ideology, but also by the confrontation between political leaders and administrators, who were partly oriented towards a more progressive state.
