Vladimir Nabokov lived in Berlin for 15 years: 1922-1937. Many of the important events of his life happened in this city: the assassination of his father, marriage, birth of his son, arrest of his brother who later died in a Nazi concentration camp. This book is a biography of Nabokov in this period, and review of his political views. The book also investigates the story of a Russian spy Mark Levi (also known as M. Ageev) whose novel "Roman s Kokainom" was erroneously attributed to Nabokov.
