Language: Old RussianThis dictionary of Old Russian will be published in ten volumes. It is prepared by scholars from the V. Vinogradov Institute of Russian Language. Starting with the sixth volume, the editorial board made several changes the dictionary`s methodology and sources to reflect the achievements in philological studies of the last decade. Each volume contains about 30,000 entries, excluding personal and geographical names, and ethnonymes. About one third of the words were not included in the previous version of the dictionary. Sources for the dictionary are chronicles, life stories, deeds, scriptural and other texts of this period. Staerted in 1988. On standing order only. All previous volumes are available.
