This documentary monograph is commenced by a general article portraying children`s life in this Nazi`s bogus "model Jewish settlement", where thousands of children were incarcerated with or without their parents. The second chapter dwells upon literature produced in the camp by both boys and girls, including their hand-written and drawn magazines, verses and a play. In a special section, "Friedl`s lessons", the authors show children`s drawings and describe activities of Friedl Dicker-Brandeis (1898-1944), an outstanding Bauhaus school artist and teacher in Terezin.
