Language: RussianThe collection "Russkaia Proza" (1926) was the result of the seminar under the same name led by Iurii Tynianov and Boris Eikhenbaum at the State Institute of Art History in 1924-26. This publication was the first public presentation by the group of historians and theoreticians of literature, who called themselves "the second wave" of Russian formalism. The collection became a promising start which was followed by a quick crisis and dissolution of this movement. This book is a reprint of the 2006 edition with addition of several articles published in 2008 and an afterword by Ia. Levchenko.
