Vera Muromtseva, a neice of the chairman of the first State Duma, married the famous Russian writer Ivan Bunin in 1907 at age of 26. This book includes two works by V. Muromtseva-Bunina. The first is her biography of Bunin before they met each other, "Life of Bunin: 1870-1906". The second one is her memoir about her husband and his literary circle: A. Chekhov, L. Tolstoi, A. Gorkii, L. Andreev, A. Kuprin, B. Zaitsev, A.N. Tolstoi et al.
