The portrait of a Russian statesman is written with the background of the history of Rus in the twelfth century. The book, written in 1946, was not approved for publication at that time. Nikolai Vorinin (1904-1976) was a world famous archeologist and historian of art, who fought for almost ten years to have this book published, but did not succeed in his lifetime.
