The publishing house Uzel was founded by members of the poetical circle around the publisher Petr Zaitsev. Among the members of this circle were poets Pavel Antokol`skii, Benedikt Lifshits, Sofiia Parnok, Boris Pasternak, and others. The publishing house published many good books but disappeared under pressure of tightening censorship and other forms of intervention of the state in literary life. This book tells the history of this poetic circle, reprints five published collections of poems, and portrays the 15 most active members of the circle published by "Uzel". 17 photographs.
