This monograph deals with less studied issue of Russian Old Believers: relationships among various Old Believer non-priest accords (Bespopovskie Soglasiia). Aleksandr Mal`tsev, one of the most talented Russian archeographers, became widely known among his colleagues after the first monograph "Starovery-Stranniki v XVIII - Pervoi Polovine XIX v." (1996, also available). The Bespopovskii movement started with the Solovki Rebellion (1667-68). This book was almost ready when its author died under tragic circumstances in 2005. The monograph presents a detailed panorama of the spiritual search of the non-priest branch of Old Believers and contains rich material for the theme of "peasant theology", its constants and dynamics. These texts of peasant literature are waiting for their literary analysis. List of Old Believers writings (378 titles). Bibliographical references.
