The great Buddhist thinker, philosopher and historian Bidiia Dandaron (1914-1974), the heir and successor of the Buryat lamas` spiritual tradition, was arrested in 1937 as a "Japanese spy" and was liberated from the GULAG only 19 years later. In the subsequent years, before a new arrest in 1972 for "religious propaganda" and his death in a camp in 1974, he created a very original and innovative system of "neo-Buddhism" as a synthesis of classical Buddhism and modern Physics. This volume presents his major works. A. Danelius in his Introduction ("Beyond the Bounds of Space and Time") draws the author`s spiritual profile.
