This is the eight volume edition of works by the most famous Russian physicist, thinker, dissident and social leader, Nobel laureate Andrei Sakharov (1921-1989). It includes two volumes of Sakharov`s essays and current writings, three volumes of memoirs (previously published), and three volumes of his diaries (never published before). The two volumes of "publitsistika" contain all or most of his interviews (both radio and press), essays, open letters, statements - all this appeared in the West but never in Russia, and so forth. The memoirs are provided with comments and are supplemented with articles, letters, and speeches of A.D. Sakharov and Elena Bonner related to the memoirs.
