Moscow:  ROSSPEN, 2006

Hardcover. 12 x 17 cm
ISBN: 5824307253
Language: Russian
The author develops a new view on the economic development of Russia and the original theory of "razdatochnaia ekonomika" which can be used as a framework for understanding the past, Soviet, and current economic and social system in Russia. The term "razdatok" can be very approximately translated as distribution. The current book continues Bessonova`s previous works and focuses mainly on today`s economy. She explains why the classic market economy cannot exist in Russia. The distribution economy may serve the same social goals, and it is deeply rooted in Russian culture, and therefore more suitable for Russia. Contents: "Razdatok" as a Russian tradition; Institutional cycles of "razdatok"; Co-existence of market and "razdatok": Essence of transformation today and tomorrow. Bibliographic references.
