The town of Pavlovsk, was built near St. Petersburg in 1777 by Catherine the Great for her son, the Grand Duke Pavel (Emperor, 1754-1801). For 140 years it belonged to the members of the Imperial House, and was their summer residence. After the revolution the town fell into decay and many of the buildings outside the palace were destroyed. This book is the second part (the first was published in 1997) and covers 1892-1915. Boris Ianush (b. 1927) born in Pavlovsk (then Slutsk) wrote the history of his town based on publications and archival sources. 75 illustrations. Name index
