Language: RussianAleksandr Pypin (1833-1904), a well known historian, wrote several works on the history of Aleksandr the First`s reign and his epoch particularly the religious life of this period, but most of his works were in Slavic studies. He published about 1,500 works, including articles and current writings. This monograph reviews and summarizes his views of the Slavic world from ancient times through the formation of the Slavic nations in their unity (panslavism).
