This is the second volume of a chronicle of the life and works of the Russian poet Sergei Esenin (1895-1925). The current volume covers his military service in Tsarskoe Selo, his trip to the North of Russia, his marriage with Z.N. Raikh, moving from St. Petersburg to Moscow, work in the All-Russian Union of Poets, his passion to "skifstvo", creating the literary group "Orden Imaginistov", active participation in literary life and struggle, his publication in the press. The volume includes many documents of personal and academic character, some of them published for the first time. Volume one (1895-1916) was published in 2003. Illustrations (pp. 461-732). Indices.
