This new book by Sergei Volkov (b. 1955), professor of Russian history, is a part of his long term project of creating an encyclopedia of the White Movement (White Cause). The current volume includes biographical information about over 5,700 officers of the Russian fleet and the navy department: who were shot by the Bolsheviks in the course of the "red terror", who died on the fields of the Civil war, who died in emigration, as well as who were repressed in Russia in 1920-1930s.
