The author divided the conflicts into several types by cause and their participants; "tselina syndrom", soldiers` unrest, ethnic conflicts, deported peoples, political protest, unrest in town marginals, believers, liberal communist movements, etc. This book is an updated and enlarged version of Massovye Besporiadki v SSSR pri Khrushcheve i Brezhneve: 1953 - Nachalo 1980-kh gg.(1999). Vladimir Kozlov (b. 1950) is the author of seven monographs, compiler and editor of the documentary series Neizvestnaia Rossii. XX Vek, coeditor of the irregular series Arkhiv Noveishei Istorii.
