This book is an anthology of prose and plays by the four key figures of the epoch called the Silver Age: Fadei Zelinskii (1859-1944), a classicist, philosopher and symbolist poet; A.A. Kondrat`ev (?-1967); D.S. Merezhkovskii (1865-1941), a writer and religious philosopher; Valerii Briusov (1873-1924) a writer, poet and literary critic. The book includes their works inspired by hyperborean Antiquity, its mythology and folklore. The second volume contains a historical mythological dictionary (pp. 201-331) compiled by N.G. Goncharova.
