This is a reprint of works by Russian philologist B. Larin. It includes description, translation, and analysis of the three foreign sources of conversational speech in Muscovite Rus XVI-XVII centuries: The Prague Dictionary of Muscovites of 1586; The Russian-English Dictionary of Richard James (1618-1619); and the Russian Grammar by H.W. Ludolfi (1696). These three works published correspondingly in 1937, 1948, and 1959, along with the Larin`s methodology of their analysis still retain their significance in studying medieval Rus.
