This book is the most complete dictionary of antonyms of the Siberian dialect. It continues the series of dictionaries on lexics and phraseology of Russian settlers in Siberia, in particular the Vershinino dictionary in seven volumes which contains the vocabulary and phraseology of typical Russian old settlers of Siberia (also available). The Village of Vershinino in the Tomsk region was chosen as a standard place of residence, and became the object of more than fifty years of field work for linguists of Tomsk State University. The author, a professor of philology at the Tomsk University, is a leading researcher on this project.
